@Biggi91 @anpa2112 @riffreporter Problem ist nur, dass zumindest aus dem Journalismus die Antworten sukzessive wegfallen werden, wenn das so weitergeht. Die KI-Konzerne hätten ja wie für Energie, Strom von Anfang an für ihre wichtigste Zutat, die Inhalte, Lizenzgebühren bezahlen können. Sie könnten in Antworten auch Quellen attraktiv verlinken. Sie haben sich aber für systematischen Diebstahl entschieden und dafür, Quellen mehr oder weniger zu verstecken. Das kann im big picture nur schiefgehen.

In 2001 I took a gap year before university and spent the summer volunteering at a summer camp in Sweden for refugee children. It was lovely, we organised games and theatre productions for them and a big barbecue at the end and they had nice facilities to play in and with.
I was having lunch this week with a bunch of people mostly in their early twenties, and this came up and I was honestly devastated by how surprised they were by this, that a European country used to welcome refugees, acknowledge that they'd been through some terrible things and needed extra support as a result.
We've somehow gone very wrong somewhere haven't we

I think there's a way for JavaScript to read the css values that apply to an element, using something like a "styles" object, so you could read the delay value that way.
@humbird0 @patrickbrosset Yes, that's the solution for now (or baking delays into your keyframes, which is very hacky). As I'm building a slide system that needs to work with as many types of animation as possible, making this resilient is a continuous adventure in these sorts of edge cases.

@neverpanic@chaos.social you are right. it's called livepatch (i think it's just a kpatch wrapper) and i previously had the wrong impressions that it's only possible in combination with launchpad (which has no on-prem version - dealbreaker), but the documentation [1] states there is an on-prem server for livepatch.
livepatching would help us quite a lot as possible maintinence windows are very rare and due to the latest storm of vulnerabilities we have to keep our servers on track.
